And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the Lord, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord, for his mercy endurth forever- II Chronicles 20:21

This scripture refers to Israel's practice in the Old Testament example of sending worshippers ahead of their armies as they went into battle.  This is key because as they began to worship God, the army became scattered. In comtemporary times, as we begin to worship God the devil forces become confused and scatter because of our sacifice of praise which is the fruit of our lips.

The purpose of the Music Ministry is to:

Create an atmosphere of praise and worship which brings glory to God.
